Tunido Hostel – Cartagena

  1. Bus terminal
    Take a taxi for around 8.000 COP, takes 20 min.

    Take the local blue bus that says ‘Transporte’ at the Carrera 8 with Calle 12 (4 blocks from the hostel towards the bus that goes to Minca, Tayrona) for 1.800 COP. Take the bus to Cartagena. The bus terminal in Cartagena is far from the city center, so you will have to take another local bus there that will take around 40 min to 1 hour

  2. Door-to-door shuttle Marsol (recommended, book it at reception)
    A little bit more expensive but way more convenient. Let us book a shuttle for you that picks you up at the hostel and takes you straight to the historical center of Cartagena.
    Costs 52.000 COP for a pick-up at Tunido Hostel. We can book it for you without additional cost

Tunido Hostel – Simón Bolívar International Airport

  1. Take the local blue bus at the beachside at the Carrera 1 with Calle 12 (3 blocks from the hostel) that says ‘Aeropuerto – Rodadero (NOT La Lucha, Gaira)’, 1.800 COP, around 45 min

  2. Airport Shuttle: faster than the bus, little bit slower than the taxi.
    Prices: 1 person – 15.000 COP, 2-3 persons – 22.000 COP, 4-5 persons 33.000 COP

  3. Taxi: 30.000 COP, around 20 – 25 min

Tunido Hostel – Tayrona, Costeño Beach, Palomino

  1. Take the local blue, white and green bus at Carrera 9 between Calle 11 and 12 in front of the central food market (6 blocks away from the hostel, same location as bus to Minca) Tayrona and Costeño beach around 7.000 COP, 1 hour; Palomino 12.000 COP, 2 hours

  2. Taxi to Tayrona, Costeño Beach: 120.000 COP one way
    Taxi to Palomino: 160.000 COP one way
  1. Door – to – park transport, leaving from Santa Marta at 8.00am (they will pick you up at the hostel), return at 5.00pm from Tayrona: 25.000 COP each way + bonus! They will take you to the second entrance El Zaino, which is 7 km further than regular bus takes you 🙂

Tunido Hostel – Minca (and from Minca to hostel ‘up the hill’)

  1. Take the colectivo bus at Carrera 9 between Calle 11 and 12 in front of the central food market (6 blocks away from the hostel, same location as bus to Tayrona, Palomino). 8.000 COP, 45 min

  2. Taxi to Minca: 60.000 COP one way

  3. Transport from Minca to
    Hostel Mundo Nuevo (recommended by Tunido):
    45 min – 1 hour on foot; 20.000 COP for a mototaxi, 10 min

    Hostel Casas Viejas (recommended by Tunido):
    2.5 hours on foot; 20.000 COP for a mototaxi, 15 min

    Hostel Casa Elemento (hostel with the giant hammock), Aloha Ke Akua Hostel:
    2.5 hours on foot; 20.000 COP for a mototaxi, 15 min

Santa Marta – Barranquilla

  1. Bus terminal
    Take a taxi for around 7.000 COP, takes 20 min.

    Take the local blue bus that says ‘Transporte’ at the Carrera 8 with Calle 12 (4 blocks from the hostel towards the bus that goes to Minca, Tayrona) for 1.800 COP. Take the bus to Barranquilla. The bus terminal in Barranquilla is south of the city center, so you will have to take another local bus there that will take around 25 min to 40 min

  2. Door-to-door shuttle Marsol (recommended)
    A little bit more expensive but way more convenient. Let us book a shuttle for you that picks you up at the hostel and takes you straight to the center of Barranquilla.

Tunido Hostel – Bus Terminal to Bogota, Bucaramanga (San Gil, Barichara), Medellin, Riohacha, Monteria, Valledupar, etc. 

  1. Take a taxi for around 7.000 COP, takes 20 min 

  2. Take the local blue bus that says ‘Transporte’ at the Carrera 8 with Calle 12 (4 blocks from the hostel towards the bus that goes to Minca, Tayrona) for 1.800 COP, takes 40 min

Tunido Hostel – Taganga 

  1. Take the local blue bus at the Carrera 5 with Calle 12 (1.5 blocks from the hostel) that says ‘Taganga’, 1.800 COP, around 15 min

  2. Taxi: 12.000 COP, around 10 min

Tunido Hostel – Rodadero

  1. Take the local blue bus at the beachside at the Carrera 1 with Calle 12 (3 blocks from the hostel) that says ‘Rodadero’, 1.800 COP, around 15 min

Tunido Hostel – Rodadero → Playa Blanca

  1. Take the local blue bus at the beachside at the Carrera 1 with Calle 12 (3 blocks from the hostel) that says ‘Aeropuerto or Rodadero’, 1.800 COP, around 25 min. Take a boat (lancha) for 10.000 – 12.000 per person two ways to Playa Blanca
  1. Taxi: around 15.000 COP, around 15 min. Take a boat (lancha) for 10.000 – 12.000 per person two ways to Playa Blanca

Tunido Hostel – Cabo tortuga, playa del ritmo

  1. Take the local blue bus at the beachside at the Carrera 1 with Calle 12 (3 blocks from the hostel) that says ‘Aeropuerto, Rodadero’, 1.800 COP, around 25 min
  1. Taxi: around 15.000 COP, around 15 min

Tunido Hostel – Bahia Concha (open from Thursday to Sunday)

  1. Take the local blue bus at the Carrera 5 with Calle 12 (1.5 blocks from the hostel) that says ‘Bastidas’, 1.800 COP, around 20 min. At the end station, take a colectivo, group taxi or mototaxi fro 5.000 COP to the beach for 15 min. Bahia Concha is inside Parque Tayrona, entrance there is 5.000 COP

  2. Taxi: 60.000 COP one way, 25 min

Tunido Hostel – Bonda → Paseo del Mango

  1. Take the local blue bus at the Carrera 5 with Calle 12 (1.5 blocks from the hostel) that says ‘Bonda’, 1.800 COP, around 30 min. Ask the driver to drop you off in Bonda, tell him you want to go to Paseo del Mango, they know where that is.
  1. Taxi to Bonda: 60.000 COP one way
